Teflon surface pealing off

Only used it twice. Once to Sous Vide a steak; not impressed. Second time to make chicken soup. Put the cooking pot in the fridge with leftover chicken soup in it, for a couple of days, and when the soup was finished (and the pot gently washed), I saw multiple small 'spots' where the Teflon coating was pealing off. Just from leaving chicken soup in the pot?! Seriously?! Unacceptable!
