The second concern that I have is that they fail to tell you that 1/2 gallon mason jars with a narrow lid haven’t been made for 20 years!
I recommend that you purchase one with a wide mouth lid and you can pick up a 1/2 gallon wide mouth jar anywhere.
I am pleased however with the performance of this item

Works flawlessly
I use this speaker selector box to connect my home theater receiver and my stereo receiver to one pair of speakers and it works flawlessly.
