Good Reversing Window Fan with Mechanical Controls
I have several other models of Lasko fans that I have been happy with, and guess that this will work pretty well. This fan has mechanical controls which I prefer in an open window environment. However, the controls are somewhat loose - there is less of a definite click to setting choice. Also, there are only two versus three fan speeds. The high fan setting is quiet a bit noisier than the low setting. I was unhappy to find that the side window extensions are incorporated inside the fan enclosure. I don't use the extensions and, since they are accordion like; they will probably accumulate insects caught up in the fan breeze overtime. I plan to try to remove them. Also the teal green trim versus plan white is a problem, but I found that it can be peeled off and removed, so the fan is more neutral in a room.

However, this aftermarket replacement lacks the gasket sandwiched between the two sides of the fob.
There are no identifying numbers on the back of the fob.
The printed circuit inside is also somewhat different. No comment about programing or using the remote.
The photo shows this product on the left and an original Ford/Lincoln (2003-2011) fob on the right.
