Elixir Baritones 12-68
Great strings. Sound and feel way better than 13-56s on a 28" scale guitar. Unfortunately the 3rd string is steel. I prefer a wound 3rd, but single Elixirs are 4 freakin' bucks!

BOSS Super Distortion & Feedbacker
2 von 3 finden das hilfreich Really cool pedal. It's basically a DS-1 plus a feedback/sustain circuit. It gets a lot of shade for being gimmicky, but you have to know how to work it.
It sounds okay if you dial it in like any other distortion pedal, but it really starts to sing when you max the level, tone, and gain, THEN ease them back to find your tone. Don't be afraid to dime the level! This thing was made in the 80's!!
On the feedbacker function, what the haters haven't taken the time to figure out is that it doesn't respond the same everywhere on the fretboard like a regular sustainer. If you know what notes you want to feed back, you can set the overtone knob to the sweet spot for a particular mode or key or whatever. When you dial it in right, it can go from straight endless sustain to warbling harmonic scream.

Great upgrade for guitars made in China
When it comes to guitars, “made in Japan” generally means good.
