Magnificent!!!!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I ordered this cd for a dear friend who liked Sarah Vaughan's version of "Send in the Clowns". I listened to it before I gave it to her, and I must say, Sarah's rendition is pure perfection!!! The way she wraps her skilled voice around each and every syllable, every note, every change in feeling, it is like she is the driving force behing the song. I have heard Judy Collin's version many times, and that's okay. But Sarah's version makes her sound like an un-practiced Judy and the chipmunks. Her treatment of the other songs is just as moving. She takes command of a song early on, leaving no doubt as to who is the master of the song's destiny.

The title was on point, as it highlighted the person.
I decided to buy this movie on the recommendation of a fellow special needs advocate. I wanted to catch a glimpse into the world of autism, as my dear nephew is autistic. This movie was very well done. It was extremely realistic, and not put into a "Hollywood" over the top format. Claire Danes was superb as Temple Grandin, she captured her essence, her innocence, and her intelligence. I was deeply moved by Julia Ormond's performance as her devoted mother, it reminded me of all the struggles we have gone through to provide the best education and resources for our little one. I am arranging for my whole family to watch this movie together, after which we will discuss what it means in relation to our little guy.

Comfortable and stylish
