1 von 1 finden das hilfreich If you’re considering replacing your map pocket, think about it again. It is not an easy fix as you think it might be. I was under the impression that after you remove the two screws at the bottom, you could just pop it out of the panel and replace it with the new one. This is not the case. When it wouldn’t pop off easy, I decided to head to the dealership, to make sure I didn’t break it. Once there, they had to remove the whole door panel and showed me that the plastic rivets from the map pocket or actually welded to the door panel. If they drilled it out, they wouldn’t have the proper tools, heat gun, etc. to melt the plastic rivet to the door panel. Suggested I go to a trim/body shop. This seemingly inexpensive $60 part, will obviously turn into a higher cost, just to get installed. I have not had time to get price quotes yet.
