Good, but not a cure all
Works well however needs to be reapplied after moderate rain fall. In early spring prior to putting down deer scram the deer will be munching everything in the garden. Once I put down the deer scram, they will avoid the garden. You need to follow the directions for application. One 25 lb pail will last me till September. Once it wears off, about 3-4 weeks after last application, the deer will be back in the garden. There is no offensive smell. Good product works, but don’t expect miracles.

Replace v rebuild
Definitely, replace the carburetor with this replacement. Took me about 15 minuets. There were a total of 5 screws, 1 throttle rod, 1 choke connector and a spring to remove and then re-install. Filled it with gas and started on the first pull. Comes with gaskets, you need nothing else. Would never monkey around trying to rebuild this carb.

Works as described
This little fan works well. It is made to just start an air circulation, not a wind tunnel. Read other reviews not sure what the complaints were about installing batteries. All I did was open the little compartment inserted 2 D batteries flipped the on/off switch and placed it in the frig. Not a cure all, but does what it claims.
