I had large soft apples, had to finally take off the core part of it to make it do even part of the apple skin

A treasure, most enjoyable to own.
When my daughters were small, I purchased (goodness knows where) this book, and read the poetry to them. Not all of the poems pleased them, they preferred Dr. Seuss, but the illustrations made me fall in love with Cybis. My husband now reminds me that I once said my life would be complete if I would someday own just one piece of Cybis. Life has been good, I now have a large collection, and check E bay most days to see what is there. I have a small Nativity set, all one piece on a base, and am hoping someday to find the companion sculptures that were originally made to accompany it. Sizes range to fit each home. My Noah is a towering sculpture of strength and delicacy, as he holds the dove on his outstretched hand. Sir Henri Escargot is a small snail, with beautiful irridescent coloring on his shell. The poetry tells of times long past, and the author found sculptures that coordinated well with the poetry. A great book for times of relaxation, beautiful both in words and illustrations.

My silky terrier loves them
Our last small dog had to go through dental surgery to remove teeth twice, it took her a long time to recover from the surgery. The veteranarian said he didn't know what the change was, but this dog's teeth are so white we shouldn't change anything. First thing in the morning she stands by the refrigerator until she gets her bone, and she runs and hides behind my husband's chair until it is gone. She realizes that it is a one a day treat, Hopefully this will keep her teeth clean and shiny for many more years. She enjoys them, and I enjoy her happiness in getting her daily treat.
