Works great for rugs and I hope will work for knit socks.
I thought of using Plasti-Dip previously to keep my knit and fleece socks from being too slippery, but this product is specifically for fabric and seems to work great so far!
I can't relate how long it lasts, but I used it on the bottom of quilted rugs for my bathroom. They don't move at all on a slippery ceramic tile floor!

Comfortable Readers
I really like this brand of reading glasses. The glass is much thinner than some brands, so they are lighter on the nose. They are comfortable and a good size to be helpful without a weird back glare or seeing the frame in your peripheral vision.

No More Slippery Rugs
I love this stuff for spraying on the back of my rugs so they won't slide on the hardwood floors.I use two coats. I also use it to spray on the bottom of hand knit booties and house socks so we don't slip and fall on our keisters.
I would give it five stars but it must be reapplied occasionally and it is hard to find, and gets expensive with shipping usually.
