Auspicious debut album by The Stranglers

gruelling road movie of sorts
The gruelling story of five prisoners granted furlough from a Turkish prison and their misadventures in seeking family redemption, inequality, discrimination and ignorance. The vast scenes in the snow are unbelievable and never seen before.
At times difficult to watch but, will leave you with mouth agape with awe and wonder. Not to be missed.

Great musicianship and playing
great musicianship and playing make for a very enjoyable listen. Lyrics are highly charged and political, this was 1984 after all!! Absolute highlights include "O For The Ocean", "Bovoid" and "The Only Choice". Big improvement on his previous band Slap Happy.
