My speakers were already blown, so I couldn't give a good comparison from stock - but these sound great and are reasonably loud with my stock head unit. (Yes, there is some distortion from the stock head unit at higher volumes, and I'm sure a different head would work much better). But I'm happy with them overall.

Hard to find this elsewhere.
A little pricey, but it's the only place I could find to purchase this item on THE ENTIRE INTERNET, so just be glad if you can find one.
