A deep storyline that immediately grabs your attention

One of Scott Mariani's best works. It is right up there with his best (in my opinion) stories, The Devil's Kingdom and Star of Africa. Combined, the three are unique in depth of character and storyline from other Mariani books. That does not mean they aren't enjoyable and great books. It simply means that this goes a step further in character and plot development. At times I was so wrapped up in the story as if I was there, but glad I wasn't. Read the book and you'll know why. And isn't that what we want in an action-adventure story?

I wish I could say this little book is n...

I wish I could say this little book is nicer than it is but there are some problems. The print on some pages is much darker than others and some are even blurry. They are readable but it definitely distracts.
