Great part
I'm certain that in many applications this is a direct replacement switch and is simply plug and play. For my Jenn-Air the installation was somewhat confusing and time consuming as the replacement looked completely different and none of the markings on the switch were the same as on the original. To make matters more fun there were no directions packed with the switches I received. I did find a copy of the Whirlpool directions online and coupled with the wiring diagram from my range was able to figure out the installation with out too much hassle. Without those two documents it would have been impossible.

Great tire, has more tread than the one that came off... I would buy it again.

OEM Part, 5 min install
Easy part to install, just make sure the cord is routed the same as it was on the icemaker you removed. If not, unclip the power head from the housing and slide to the side so you can replicate the routing as on the old one. Mostly a plug & play part.
