Viscous thermal paste for thermal pad replacement K5 PRO 20g Asus g750jx G750JW

Doesn't work that well.

I had put a thick blob of arctic silver on the GPU of my Dell E6410 because it's all I had at the time. While looking into replacement pads I read about this k5 stuff saying it's better than the pads. I got it today and cleaned off all of the arctic silver and replaced the chipset and GPU paste with the K5. After starting a few programs and checking my monitor I found the GPU running about 10 degrees Celsius higher than the arctic silver. So I had to remove the K5 and put the arctic silver back on.

Great deal for the price

I don't know how these would stand up to professional use, but for home entertainment you can't beat the price of these little things. I have two different ones, and the only downside is a lot of these are identical in physical appearance, but have different patterns so if the listing doesn't show pics of the patterns you might not get what you're looking for. It would be nice to find a listing of all the different ones they make so you could easily see what all variations there are and more easily pick and choose, but there's no company information included. If you can see the model number sticker on the side you can sometimes find the patterns online, but there are some that are slightly different with close model numbers.
