Poor quality tuner- struggles with local stations
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich I have installed many stereos over the years, but this unit has one of the weakest tuners I have ever seen. Perhaps most people buy this unit for the DVD player, blue tooth, usb, etc, but in the end a radio should have a decent tuner. I installed this unit in a 2005 Toyota Corolla. I intended to replace the factory radio because it's CD player was having issues. My Toyota has a tuner amp which I wired correctly. In addition, I ran a heavy duty wire from car chassis to the case of the radio, all to no avail. My connections are all soldered and shrunk wrapped. The factory tuner easily locked in on stations 30 miles away with no cut out or static. The Blaupunkt tuner failed to lock in on even local stations and ones it did receive faded in and out of stereo. I bought this radio, with very few reviews available and so was blindsided by it's performance. To summarize, do not buy this radio if you want to receive radio stations off the air.
