More than doubled my actual transfer speed.
I bought 2 of these cards and installed 1 into my main PC and 1 into my NAS.
I was previously able to transfer at rates of 1Gbps but now I'm transferring well over 2Gbps.
Both of the PCs don't have amazing CPUs, so I think that with more modern and more powerful CPUs, I'd be able to get up to 4Gbps under Windows 10 Pro.
If you want to get true 10Gbps speeds, you'll have to have decent CPUs and either be running Linux or a server version of Windows that has SMB (Server Message Block) support.

Expensive but works very well.
I can now utilize my 10Gbps NICs to transfer files between my main PC and my NAS at much higher speeds than before.
