More New England data available
I bought the book, because my family were involved in UR activities in Whately, MA, not far south of Vermont. This is a valuable source in filling in details and suggesting new leads to exploring a period that had to be shrouded in mystery while it was happening and which was talked about but not written down back in the 1920's and 1930's. Christmas with all the trimmings
Because I live in several places at once, I probably have three or four copies of this cookbook. One advantage of the book is that it doesn't use ingredients from the other side of the world. It reads like something put together by a New Englander, trying to figure out what local products will lend themselves to a vegetarian diet. The book is organized in celebrations, but there's nothing to prevent you from taking a dish for one occasion to serve it on another. Here, where I live in the Rocky Mts., it is very practical!

Taylor koa guitar
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this wonderful guitar, because I wanted to get into Slack Key guitar playing but didn't want to be always changing the tuning on my other guitars. So, I reasoned that Hawaiian music deserved a Hawaiian wood; hence, koa. It has this a mellow sound, far more distinctive than the other guitars I have, and I have some good ones, both steel-string acoustic and nylon-string classical. In slack key playing, when I hammer on or slide, the sound is very clear. The exterior of the guitar is beautiful; in short, the guitar makes me sound better and look better than I actually am.
