Theif deterent
Our passports and relevant cards are now safely installed in the cardboard pockets that arrived. They look good, and they went back into the slots where they normally live, without any difficulty. I cannot comment on their effectiveness, but I guess time will tell. I just take the claims made at face value and will trust that my data is sake.
I have to say that they seem ridiculously cheap to me, so much so, that I bought some for my sister as well.

It fits - as promised!!
I was very happy that the replacement really was designed to go onto the original baseplate. At 73, I am none too steady when climbing steps and, had I not have been able to fit the alarm, using one hand, I would have needed to pay someone to come in and do it for me.
As to whether it is 'good quality' I am unable to comment. I am happy to state that I have not had a fire since it arrived but I am sure, that if I do, then the alarm will trigger!!

An aid to saving my sanity!
I purchased this, originally, for my 97 year old mother. She has osteoathritis and it is beginning to affect her hands, which causes her to drop bits of tablets when she tries to split them manually. Then she can't bend down to pick them up! Now she has a new, very useful 'toy', and she's delighted.
This is the second purchase because my 83 year old husband has also been diagnosed with osteoarthritis.
It's only a little benefit for them - but it makes a world of difference to me. Whoever invented these deserves a medal!!
