Interesting read & great food
The recipes inspired me to want to put the book down for a bit and go to the kitchen to cook!
This is not the usual collection of 'same-same', slight variations of the usual recipes found in this type of book. The restricted availability of ingredients, Wendy's cooking experience and the multicultural influences have created a bounty of tasty, unusual and exciting flavours and dishes .... easily whipped up in the home kitchen. The story around each of the recipes adds interest and relevance and is great to share whilst enjoying the culinary fare with family and friends.
