Retreat from a wet afternoon
A good film to watch in front of a log fire, with a plentiful supply of coffee or wine, on a wet day. Entertaining, amusing and not requiring any great soul searching.

A bear's unintentional journey much loved by 3 year old
My 3 year old grandson loves this book. The story is told in rhyme which is good to read aloud. There is a realistic, inclusive list of characters and an attention holding story. The illustrations follow the story and can be used to discuss it. The book has become a firm favourite of both reader and listener.

Good book for any innkeeper in the reception class nativity
A fun book about the Christmas Eve to Christmas Day night from the unusual point of view of the innkeeper trying to get a good night's sleep when there is too much going on for a peaceful night. The expressive illustrations contribute to the story which has the right number of words for a young listener.
