For 70 bucks it does everything the $300 ones do I love it never had one problem with it it works great. If you don't have a c wire you can buy a special 24 volt cord and use as c wire. Most units have c-wire but my house built in 1925 with 1970 furnace didnt have one. But I got it to work A++
