Awesome book big idea adventures!
I’ve been a fan of Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch for years and you can see a lot of Bryan’s early genius in this volume of high octane non stop action. The unique humor and big concept world/character building is what makes Warren Ellis a writing genius. His ability to acknowledge what he’s come before incorporate it into something bigger and better and build even more from there is just astounding. It also helps that the remastered art and collection format really flushed out these two amazing creators. Lets not forget the astonishing Laura Martin on colors who has gone on to do amazing stuff for Marvel and Paul Neary on inks makes this creative and book A MUST HAVE for any comic book enthusiast.
