TP Link WR702N - Excellent wifi adapter for Smart TV's & Bluray Players
I purchased this for my son to attach his Sony BDP-S490 bluray player to the internet in order to access the Smart apps.
I can confirm it works very well although he did have to upgrade to latest firmware first after which it found his network and connected in seconds following the upgrade.
A fantastic piece of kit as a wifi / gaming adapter / ethernet bridge. I am not sure how the AP / repeater functions works as our purpose was just to connect up the blueray. This solution was 12% of the cost of the official Sony usb wifi adapter. A great saving in my opinion.
