This Receiver almost made me cry with joy and sadness
11 von 11 finden das hilfreich I am not new to the world of Sound and Video, but I am new to those items that give you one hell of a deal in the area of quality of build, sound, and features. This is what you get in spades with the Onkyo TX SR705. This is my first Onkyo product that I have bought, I own Pioneer Elite, Sony ES, and much higher end amps and preamps, but this will be the one that I will be using the most often. Why, you ask or might not ask or even care, but if you value supporting a product that outshines, outclasses almost anything in the under $1000 AV Receiver arena you will care on how you spend your money and what it will give you in return. the sound is very clean and detailed not harsh, this has to pump out more then the 100 watts per ch it is rated at because there is no end to volume. It is THX2, HDMI 1.3a, decodes all of the most up to date high definition soundtracks that is out there and that will be coming. It has the most sophisticated auto speaker setup that really works and is a breeze to use. Has both satellite radio system already setup for you to use if that is what you want to do. Their are so many features both sound and video such as up sampling DVD's to 1080 I and P etc. so many that it would take the entire review just to name them all. The main negative is the manual and how hard it makes to set this unit up if you use a none HDMI TV/Monitor. It can be very frustrating and was. But, I still will give it an excellent rating because overall it deserves it plain and simple!

Buy the phone and put away your scam and robo calls for ever.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich What it does was one of the main reasons I bought the five phone system. The system can use up to six phones, so this is the sixth phone. The phone system must use a matched extra phone in-order to do small things like making and answering calls, you can do this amazing thing with just five phones, WOW, but my need was for six. One of the reasons besides using six phones is the ability to put scam and robocalls in a dark deep hole never to come out or call again on the phone system; unless I wanted it to call again because of a mistake I made in putting my mother-in-law in that dark deep hole. Each phone has amazing power to make your life much easier then using two cans and a string. Buy the phone and make your mother-in-law happy.
