Making Waves
The book captivated my interest from cover to cover. I literally could not put the book down and finished reading its entirety in less than a day. The story has significant history during the summer Olympics of 72 and 76. This book is not just about sports, but how East Germany 🇩🇪 felt it necessary to cheat the world so it could be a super power in women’s Olympic history. Thanks to Olympic champion Shirley Babashoff for being brave enough to tell the truth ,when others wouldn’t ,about the East Germans.
