Have maps back thanks to this card
My RAV4 original map card wasn’t recognized anymore. It just failed for some reason. I ordered this card as a replacement. I inserted it in the car, and it was recognized immediately. The maps are now back!

Kit repaired main board
The important thing in using this product is to research how to remove the existing defective part on the main board
(U18). This part is a surface mounted device (SMD) and if removed incorrectly can damage the solder pads it is attached to. Research how to unsolder SMD devices. Once the defective part is removed this part can be soldered to the existing solder pads on the main board without any difficulty. Be sure to match the dot on the part with the dot on the main board. The repaired main board then allowed the tv to turn on and work normally. Before the repair, the tv would not turn on at all. There was a red light on the lower left on the tv that stayed on, but the tv would not turn on. So far the tv is working great, and I'm very satisfied with the quality of this repair kit.
