Go-to product for model engineering
Loctite 542 is the original hydraulic sealant. Works well on threaded components where a good water or steam joint is required.

Strong and flexible cord
Strong and flexible cord which does not fray (the ends can be melted easily with a match or lighter). We used this to tie down canvas sheets and it is just the job.

Perfect for Stuart 504 boiler
I bought this to fit a Stuart 504 boiler as the existing gauge frame had fractured. The replacement from Stuard costs about the same but does not have a blow-down valve and so the glass cannot be cleared without removing the bottom nut - where the fracture occured.
This new gauge frame looks excellent and has the added bonus of providing a way of draining the boiler after steaming without having to remove any fittings.
