His Master's Voice
We can all recognise the icon image - a slight figure of commanding yet melancholic presence, one arm and one good eye but with unquestionable self resolve - but what about Nelson's voice? Kenneth Colley's performance is excellent and he undoubtedly looks the part, but for me, in so many of the impressive scenes, his delivery is too casual, too throw away. The rousing scene before the Battle of Trafalgar is the exception and here Colley captures Nelson's rapport with his men and his feverous passion to give the enemy a shaking and defend his country. The early scene with Frances Nelson too is believable vocally but the voice all too often lacks passion, gravitas and soul. Nevertheless, Colley is a first class Nelson and is supported by an excellent cast. This product is well worth the money and a very interesting interpretation of an important part of our Nation's history.

Attractive and Practical
Have several of these to divide a very large kitchen. They are practical and tone in perfectly and divide without clutter. They look particular good with small indoor lights draped over and are fairly substantial.
Excellent value for money.
