Most Interesting and Informative
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought my first Ball preserving/canning book about 35+ years ago. This was my learning book and guide for preserving vegetables and jam. It was a basic book about 1/4 inch thick but the instructions for water bath and pressure canning methods were explained well. I had to stop growing all my vegetables and canning about 15 years ago due to declining physical function due to medical issues. I bought this book out of curiosity and was so glad I did! It is full of wonderful and interesting recipes that can me made even if you don't want to "can" them and they can be downsized for family sized portions. Book looks great!

Unfortunately I can't really answer this! Nice wife that I am (YES!), I bought this for my husband, not me. He hasn't started it yet so I really can't give a reliable answer right now!
