Precision? What a Joke.
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich I wanted an 8 inch dial thermometer to replace my old Springfield which still works but is in tatters. I purchased an Accurite Brand thermometer at Lowe's which was anything but accurate. I then purchased one of these Taylor/Springfield units and found that it roughly coincides with the Accurite! Both of these differ from my mercury thermometers and my old Springfield (which are consistent with one another) by anywhere from about 5 degrees to about 13 degrees! I presume that some Chinese firm is cranking out bi-metal strip coils that simply aren't engineered to function properly--and the American firms who are contracting the work haven't bothered to check for quality. More landfill...

Good mirror: tight ball-and-socket stays...
Good mirror: tight ball-and-socket stays put, and small size makes it less likely to be knocked out of adjustment. To me, glass is much preferable to a SS mirror.
