This heatsink rocks.
The 6970M board was discarded, for what I wanted was the 3-pipe heatsink attached to it. It is the best heatsink Apple provides for use in 2009-2011 machines with high wattage cards. My iMacs came with the inferior 2-pipe card intended for MXM-A cards. I plan to use this improved heatsink with a WX7100 or similar MXM-B card for upgrading cards.

Just what the doctor ordered ...
This adapter fits well and holds the recommended Zenni lenses right where you would want them. Make sure to mark the lens orientation and sides as you remove them from the Zenni frame so you have them the same way in the adapter. I'd also suggest a drop or two of glue in the frame groves along the edge to keep them securely in place, especially if you for see the need to remove the adapter for others to use your Rift, for without the pressure of the Oculus Frame the lenses may become loose in the adapter and fall out.

Great for older iMacs
Search out the MacRumors forum which provides details for flashing ROM on the WX7100 and others for use in 2009-2011 iMacs. This card is the current best and breaths new life into these machines.
