Very detailed
Lionel has certainly ramped up their rolling stock. These 40 ton ACF stock cars, the PS1 boxcars, PS4 flatcars. This car has good weight, scale size, and great detailed graphics. You can almost hear the cows mooing!

Unique Set, several Lionel Firsts.
Lionel hit a home run with this set. 1st combined freight/passenger set! 1st appearance of the RS3 in their locomotive line-up. Lionel also offered an add-on NY Central Lightning Stripe Caboose, and 4 additional passenger cars, for those who were interested in a complete passenger set. No track or transformer, this set was for an established operator. Definitely not a starter set. Operating Poultry Sweeper car added a whimsical touch. Single dome tank car, double door NY Central boxcar, and CP Rail flatcar with stakes and a simulated wood load rounded out the set. All items individually boxed, and and snuggly secured in the set box. I don’t remember the original price, but it can be obtained at reasonable cost on eBay. Can’t go wrong with this set.

Lionel Trailer on Flatcar (TOFC)
Released as part of the Lionel Erie Railroad Fallen Flags set, this TOFC is a looker. It has diecast trucks, and the trailer bracket and wheel chock. The trailer is nicely decorated, and the container is removable from the trailer frame. It can be paired with any Lionel tractor, and any other Lionel Trailer can be placed on the flatcar. This line of cars is O27/O31, rather than true O scale. It looks great as a stand-alone TOFC, or in a string of other TOFCs. My only beef is that these cars are too shaky as they ride along, and it takes away from the illusion. There should be a better way, from Lionel, to have these trailers stay properly seated, and not bounce around so much.
