Fixed my S-Max 2008 with this - Good tool
I used this to fix the rear suspension forward trailing arm bush on my 2008 Ford Smax which uses the same suspension parts as the Mondeo Mk4.
I used a trolley jack, an axle stand and some wooden blocks and changed my bush on the drive. Instructions included are pretty good (bit small), I managed on my own, it would have been easier with another to help hold the tool as its fairly heavy and check alignment - just note that you may need to undo/loosen the inner forward control arm bolt to lower the trailing arm, I used some wood to hold the arm down. Also removing the tool once you have pressed out the old bush involves some hammering on a bar fed through the side slots.
I used some Loctite freeze and release spray to assist removal of nuts and bolts and the bush itself, just use brake cleaner or similar to clean off prior to fitting the new bush, as it must be installed dry.
Alignment markings for the bush are a little awkward, use a mark on the inside face of the trailing arm prior to removal, so that it is visible when fitting the new bush.
Good solid tool, nice to use and it will last and save you money if you have the diy tools and skills to carry the work out.
Ford wanted £252 to change one bush, the genuine bush from fordpartsuk is only £14.99!

Light and good quality
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I purchased this item to fit a 15mm Shimano XT hub onto my standard QR Rockshox 30 forks, the item slipped into the hub a treat and clamped up nicely in my forks. Great solution allowing me to use my ZTR Ach rims and gives an upgrade path if I go for a better 15mm fork at a later date.
