Turned it on, was very loud, opened up the bottom to see fan was busted. After replacing the fan, put on handle & bag . . . works good. Glad I kept my old unit to swap out fans.

Great vacuum for people/pets with allergies
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I had one of these vacuums a long time ago & lent it to a neighbor which moved during the night & took it. At that time I didn't have to money to go out & buy another one so I bought a so called high-end model which claimed to do the same thing but better. I should have know by how it was made. Needles to say for years I have been buying other vacuum cleaners in hope that one would work like the filter queen but who was I kidding. Being ded up I had some extra money & saw what a deal this was so I bought it. A much newer model than the one I had but I will not let anyone use this but me. I know when i'm done vacuuming the floors & carpets, etc they are clean. Also my allergy to dust & pet dander seem to be going away once again. I can put some fragrance in the top part & when the machine is running it's puts out a pleasent scent that last a long time. To empty it is easy, unclamp the two clamps, take it outside & dump in a garbage bag, return inside, install a new filter cone & away you go!! Also I don't have to worry about finding parts, filters OR who will fix it IF it breaks, these are still being made today and built to last not like some others that last for a year & cost as much as your car payment. I guess the old saying it true "you get what you pay for". I am very content with this filter queen & in closing anyone who is considering buying one & you have bad allergies, get it & you will be pleasently surprised. Also I forgot to say this machine has two speeds low-high & even on high is very quiet. Again there are many models of this machine out there today & new one's still being made this very minute, get it, try it, you'll like it!
