Ann Sheridan and Cary Grant have great chemistry
Ann Sheridan and Cary Grant have charming and fun interactions in this movie based in Germany after World War II. She's vibrant, sassy, and full of character. He's a great combination of sauve and subte.
It is a little odd having Cary Grant play a French national. Thankfully, he does not waste any effort trying to speak as though he were French.
