Good lamp but read my review.
I have another lamp like this one in my laboratory room. Differents brands but same object. Both lamps show a very good light, good extension and they hold the position you put them. There is a identical defect on both lamps: the ball joint is not strong enough to hold the head. So, when you set it at the tilt and orientation you wish, the head bends down. I modified both lamps to the ball joint and now I have perfect lamps. The magnifying glass is 2.25X ie 5 diopters, they specify it in the description of the item but not in the title where a 5X (would be 16 diopters) magnifying power is shown. This is enough for my hobby even if I would have liked to have a 3X magnification power, ie 8 diopters.
