Excellent account of the British navy at the battle of Jutland
I have read several tactical accounts of the battle. This work was especially enjoyable as it allowed me to study the human element of the battle. The accounts only contain one enlisted account the rest are all officers. The book is broken up along the timeline of the battle allowing the reader to experience the human emotions during the course of the battle. Highly recommend.

An excellent account of the Battle for the Wake atoll.al
Although this retelling of the battle is somewhat self aggrandizing as it was written by Major Devereux it overall conforms to all the other accounts I have read by authors. Devereux has been accused of downplaying the actions of his subordinates other accounts and seems to have enjoyed the hero status conveyed by the press during and after the battle. Most accounts do credit him with lion’s share of the credit as they should. Enjoyable read overall.
