OK - as long as it's put together right first time.

Bought 2. Light weight so definitely needs strong pegs to keep it in place. Not sure those provided would withstand a very strong wind especially in soft or damp soil. Easy to follow instructions & put together by screwing one piece into another, but one had a slight bit of a lean when finished, so thought it need tightening or refitting, but once part is partly unscrewed, unable to screw back into position or to remove completely, so ended up with one birdfeeder instead of 2. :(

A wonderful, but little known Australian classic. A must read!

I bought this after reading a review in Sydney Morning Herald - & am so glad I did. Beautifully written, with touches of humour, it accurately portrays the happy, & not so happy, times in a young lad's life in the changing Australia of 1929. The book is an easy & very enjoyable read & a true Australian Classic of this bygone era. My husband & my son also found it absolutely delightful. Highly recommended.

Good for the price

Can remove the whole top making it quicker & easier to fill than those that you have to open individual compartments. Daily compartments secure, but easy to open. Days of the week hard to read on the compartments but that's a minor problem. Good value for the price.
