for any updatable software is a recommended
as some of you may already know, not everything can be done with USB flash drives, and some of the things you would write on a disc may get updated or changed over time, so single-use discs are wasteful and damage the environment. what makes these specific discs good is that they can be written to at the low speed of 4x (writing discs at lower speed increases data write quality on the media).

good multi-core performance
this is the kind of CPU you can use if you require significant amount of processing, it is very good for video processing with many filters, sound engineering with lots of plug-ins, and pretty much any task that uses heavily multi-threaded operations, the CPU provides 6 real cores, more than the competition (which provides only 4 real cores but adds another 4 fake cores), it performs better than 2010-2016 generations of AMD CPUs (bulldozer), the icing on this cake is the user is free to change the speed of this CPU and adjust their own power/performance threshold to fit their requirements. however, because the CPU provides 6 cores on a 45 nm process, thermal management becomes a real challenge, without a doubt this is one of the hottest CPUs ever designed by AMD (rated at 140W thermal design power - the CPU can release up to 140 watts of power in the form of heat) and as such successful and long-lasting operation will significantly depend on the cooling system of the computer, not just the cooling of the CPU itself but one has to take care to provide cooling to the MOSFETs and the capacitors near the CPU socket. in addition, because the CPU can use alot of power, it is recommended to use 8-pin ATX12V motherboards, be advised that while 4-pin ATX12V motherboards will be able to function within specifications under normal operating conditions, some applications may cause increased CPU power requirements which cause increase in temperatures of the MOSFETs which may cause their power conversion efficiency to drop - resulting in increase power drain from the ATX12V connector, if you have a 4-pin ATX12V motherboard and you are running parallel CPU-intensive tasks it is recommend to reduce (in software or in hardware) the total number of used cores in order to prevent the risk of damage to any of the computer's components (especially at high ambient temperatures).

an important factor in radiator performance
a radiator shroud is an important aspect which is unfortunately sometimes overlooked the fact is no matter how fast your fans are spinning - some of the air they take may be from the wrong direction and that is because the restriction caused by the radiator fins creates aerodynamic resistance, this resistance is a path that is hard to get air through and so as a result an airway with less resistance goes into the fan (a path which is not through the radiator, which means reduced cooling performance). the shroud blocks these alternate low-resistance airway paths and prevents air from coming into/from the fan from/to the wrong places and forces the fan to only pull/push the air which goes through the radiator, this increases the efficiency of the fans and allows them to produce higher cooling performance with less fan speed.
