great basic phone - but check compatibility
This is a great phone for those like me who want just a phone. I've been using this model with Net10 for some three years now and have been very happy. It is more durable than the LG model, being a flip-phone. The only operational negative is that the menus are a bit awkward, but I can tolerate that as the phone performs well (better the entry model from LG). The only caviat is that Net10 may not be supporting it anymore. At least for my zip code (90025) they said I could not us it. -- At least they were good enought to remedy the situation by sending me a free replacement (a comparable LG model). Hopefully they have not completely abandoned this phone.
