Must Have Item for BBQ
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich As a BBQ accessory I cannot do without I have used a Polder timer for many years. I have learned the amount of time and the temp at which beef, fish, chicken, veggies, etc. all cook the best and I just set the timer accordingly as a reminder of when to turn things over. It's especially helpful when others are around and talking or when I'm otherwise distracted. I wear the timer around my neck and know I won't forget about what's on the grill. I also use it when filling the pool or to time tasks that require me to not forget to do something. Even as a wakeup call from a nap when I don't want to set a clock etc. I've given 10 or 12 of these as gifts over the years and those who have gotten them have all been very appreciative and enthusiastically promote their use. I've now cracked 2 heads after about 25 rounds of use. Disappointing!
0 von 2 finden das hilfreich After a yearlong search for a good driver I purchased a 12.5 degree Nickent 4DX with a stock Fujikura SR3 shaft R flex. This is one fine driver. Good feel, very forgiving and plenty long. I tried numerous others, including the Taylormade Burner Superfast, and found the Nickent to be superior at a fraction of the price. I like it so well I bt. a second, on ebay, as a backup and may experiment with different shafts just to be sure there isn't something even better waiting out there, but I doubt that I'll find it. I'm a 5-8 hcp. player and can generally tell within a few shots if a club has that special feeling, sound, etc. that makes it stand out. This one has it all in spades. I also purchased the 4DX 5 wood (head only) on ebay and with the Aldila shaft I put in it am equally pleased with the result. I have assembled two other 5 woods, for friends, both of whom love the club. If solid feeling shots, that fly long and straight are your thing, at a very reasonable price, you can't miss with these Nickent clubs. I wish I had discovered them sooner. A very very good club!!
