Recipes are NON "nothing fancy" -- require many steps and many ingredients
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich The book claims to be simple recipes, nothing fancy, comfortable, un-self-conscious recipes. In fact, these recipes are just like those in all the look-at-me cookbooks these days -- unless your pantry is stocked with urga chile, caramelized lemon, gochujang, hazelnuts, heavy cream, panko, grated gruyere, tahini, chiles de arbor, and a shelf full of anchovies. Recipes involve many steps and a big kitchen-cleanup when done. The recipes are probably good, but I wanted NOTHING FANCY! Very sorry I bought this.
