night of the living dead - 30th anniversary edition
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich i found this edition of the classic, in a word, disturbing . . . let me explain. for someone that has seen the classic innumerable times, watching it with an additional score was unnerving to me. i'm sure the people that added the music are HUGE fans and would probobly commit great bodily harm if anyone defiled the name of george romero, however, it was SOOOO unnecessary. the extra score, i feel, downgraded the movie and just changed ot for me.
a word of caution for anyone that wants to be ambitious and add extra music to a classic movie; please don't.

zombies are people too; were
no one ever comes out and says that the zombie-thing is what's happening, but after the multiply shot start disappearing and random biting occurs, you get the picture.
some of the truest dialogue and genuine reactions to situations you will ever experience in a movie. there are a couple of heroes, but there really is no save the world mentality. you are much too concerned with preservation of self when IT all starts. there's no insulting of intelligence or gratuitous teenage sex, thank goodness.
one suggestion: get your popcorn, chips, snacks and soda before the movie starts, because once it does, you can't turn away.
a fantastic movie that does not disappoint from beginning to end. one of the best non-zombie, zombie movies ever made!
