Beautiful Bokeh!
Great Portrait lens along with the 50mm F1.2. Both L series and good solid build quality. I watched a famous portrait photographer the other day on a shoot and he used these two lenses exclusively without changing to anything else. Just two bodies and the 85 and 50! I use this for Video on my 5D MkII and it gives lovely OOF areas/ Bokeh. The daddy of all short telephotos!

Better by increments
This is the newer ‘Night Elven’ model and it has a few very useful tweaks. It is Very very stable with the newer feature of maintaining an approximate height without having to keep your finger on the throttle. I managed to trim mine so that you can let go completely of the control and it stayed put. Early days but really impressed. My 6 year old son has had his first few attempts and managed to land it fairly smoothly! Maybe we’ll be onto 3D flips next few months hopefully!
