Long reach security door bolt
The old key was not long enough as my French doors are extra thick. The key came a little too long, but this was easily sorted with a small disc grinder.

Socket retaining night light
Unlike many nightlights these retain the socket . My wife fell down the stairs some years ago whilst going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, she ended up in hospital.
I purchased these lights for the hall and landing. They give a warm glow, are neat, economical and give sufficient illumination to keep us safe throughout the night when nipping to the loo. I know they are sold as a baby night light, but they are great for general use too. Cannot recommend highly enough. Just buy some.
