Great flash unit, must have one
I've never impressed something like this. it was way more than my expectation. it's powerful and charges fast enough. I loved it's beeping. it says everything to me such as "charged, exposed OK, under exposed".
High speed sync was something I never used before. it amazed me.
and one remarkable thing that other brand doesn't have is a secondary reflector. it is a flash unit, located over a focus assist lamp. it really fills photos. but I don't use it indoors. coz' of shadows.
Wireless modes work as perfect as OEMs.
From the dark side, Metz should do something with its tilt and swivel head. it may get damage and lose some features related to the head such as auto zoom ERROR, secondary flash not shooting, information on LCD informs wrong.

Great to have one
Great lens for outdoor shooting. AF is fast and silent. VC is accurate and useful. Recommend this lens to everyone. But IMO, it is little bit overpriced for Variable Aperture lens.

Good for everyday photo shooting. not for pro shoots
pros:
- Wide variety of focal lenghs,
- Silent and quick AF,
- OS feature performs well,
- High quality plastic,
Cons:
- Not accurate AF,
- AF hunts and not succeed in low light situation,
- Small focus ring, not possible to have manual lens if focal is 18mm and hood is inverted.
- CA is noticeably high.
Overall, must have lens if you not consider on pro quality image, don't like changing lenses often, don't want to pay more to have many lenses and carry less when shooting.
you must not have this lens if you consider on sharpness, clean image, blurred background, accurate and faster AF.
I regret having this lens. But paid less than a market price on this lens, so I can keep it for traveling and walkaraund photo shooting
