Excellent and dependable arrow rest
After trying this rest that came installed on an old recurve bow I acquired, I was quickly hooked with the many qualities this type of rest offered over the shelf rug and plate system that comes with most recurves. Not only will this rest shoot feather fletching, I have no problems with tpu vane clearance whether 2" or 5". It is easily installed with the self adhesive backing, weather proof, quiet and adaptable if you have a plunger cushion installed. I have ordered more to replace the rests on the other 4 recurves and two compound bows I have. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles the fancy top end rests have, but it doesn't have all the fussiness of tuning you have to go through either. No brainer for me!

Sweet little tool for a great price
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich The Bohning Pro Fletch tool has been a great little addition to my archery tool box. I've fletched probably 6 dozen arrows with this tool and the only thing I could find wrong was over tightening one of the clamp guide screws until I pulled the plastic handle off. My bad strength control. No worries though. It works just fine with the nut I screwed on the bolt. It comes with the adapters for either 3 or 4 fletch. East to follow instructions. I've used it for 5" feathers, 4 & 5 inch plastic vanes and even them 2" Blazer NAP style. It'll fletch them all. Just make sure to not glue your fletch to the clamp and you'll do fine. If you use the fletching tape, the clamp design allows you set it on the working surface upside down while you apply the tape. This is the same thing I do when using the glue. Even my old arthritic fingers can do a fairly respectable job with this tool. If you take care of your tools, then even though it's plastic, you'll get some good years of service out of it. Heck, I even ordered the helical clamp so I could make some fancy fletches, too.

Oneida Bows still a great bow!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The Oneida Eagle bows are simply one of the better designs I have ever used. These old style hybrid lever bows just seem to hold themselves in a class that hasn't any peers. Ever though no longer manufactured by Oneida, they continue to hold their value well with a healthy throng of archers who snap them up as soon as they become available.
My old Screaming Eagle is just a smooth operating mechanical bow that doesn't seem to be fussy about any type of arrow I've run through it. I found it easy to tune and there are enough resources available on line to help you keep it working great. There are also some great businesses out there to customize or re-build one if that's what you want. I'm still keeping my eyes open to the possibility of adding another to my stable of old bows.
