Considering the state of some of the old tat hawked on e-Bay I think my £20.00 was well-spent!

OK if you replace the magnets
Very weak magnets which are not sufficient to hold a PCB.
If you smash out the old magnets and replace them with 12x2 mm neodymium disc magnets, squeezed in with a vice, it's perfect!
