First of the Few.
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich Have seen this film many times but not transcribed on to a DVD. It has been well done and lost nothing in the translation. Excellent cast star in this 1942 film about how RJ Mitchell came to design the iconic Spitfire. Starting in the 1920's with the Schneider Trophy floatplane racers and culminating in the Battle of Britain. Both the lead actors - Niven and Howard - were taken off active duty to make the film and Howard died sadly shortly after returning to duty. Wonderful film with a heavy vein of propaganda and not accurate in all respects but a great film to own and show to the kids so that they understand why they're able to speak English and not German!
