Rich and Deep

I have used this product for ten years. It covers the black but despite all the changes to the product, it still is not affecting the gray hair. I stick to it because it is rich and deep and because it matches my skin color so well. If you are out in the sun, be prepared for significant lightening. It is very obvious in my hair but I will not apply colour over colored hair so I live with it. Besides, people still flatter me by asking what color I use. If it covered my graying "ethnic" hair at the roots, I would be perfect.

Does Not, Does Not

It does not need dry cleaning, despite what washing directions appear on the label. I washed it a few times and pulled it out of the dryer half way to air dry. It has held up very well, considering it is knitted. It does not look or feel like 100% cotton, as the label says. Way too much stretch to the fabric. Also, when I put the pillow under my feet, I feel heat immediately. I would guess 40 - 60% cotton. This means you have to be careful not to use hot water and if you react badly to synthetics, this is not for you. I can't help thinking that this item has been incorrectly labelled.

I Found It!

Magnificent color for me. I have a mid copper skin tone, and nothing purple works with me. This one nails it. It is light and even. It does not settle into tiny creases or look uneven. It ages well throughout the day, which is important for people who have no time to re-apply make-up all day. I really found the lipstick that works for me!
